1. Who are we?
Nethost.nl, established in Zaandam, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this statement. You can reach us at info@nethost.nl.
2. What data do we collect?
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), phone number
- Address & billing data: home address, postcode, city, country, company name, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number
- Payment data: type of payment method, masked card numbers, transaction references (no full card details)
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, session ID, log files
- Communication: support tickets, email correspondence
3. Why do we process your data?

4. Sharing with third parties
We only share your data with third parties insofar as this is necessary to provide our services:
- Payment providers (Mollie, PayTR) — to process payments
- Hosting infrastructure — server infrastructure for providing the services
- Email provider — to send transactional emails
- Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) — under legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data processing agreements have been concluded with all processors.
5. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including SSL/TLS encryption, encrypted storage of sensitive data, and access control on a "need to know" basis.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access: you can request an overview of the data we process about you
- Rectification: incorrect data can be corrected
- Data portability: you can download your data in JSON format via the customer panel
- Erasure: you can request the deletion of your account and associated data
- Objection: you can object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Restriction: you can request that processing be restricted
You can exercise your rights via the customer panel (under "Mijn data (GDPR)") or by sending an email to info@nethost.nl. We respond within 30 days.
Do you have a complaint about how we process your data? You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
